beach sculptures
sat 4 oct 2008. 1-4 pm meeting at the peace statue or cathy's place if its raining which is nearby. this will be beach sculptures based on journeys as the theme and we'd like you to help us document this if you've got a digital camera of some sort. we'd really like to have some pictures on the website.
what is feminist/lesbian art?
sun 19 oct 2008. 1-4pm friends house. after a very lively discussion and fun afternoon with caroline at her last workshop she is very kindly going to run another one, this time more hands-on with the theme what is feminist/lesbian art? watch the sparks fly!
writing workshop
sat 8 nov 2008.1.30-4.30pm cornerstone community centre. cathy's previous writing workshop produced some exciting and surprising poetry which we didn't know we had in us! she will be running this one with another journey theme.
drawing and clay workshop
sat 22 nov 2008. 1-4pm friends house. rebecca will be offering a drawing and clay workshop with some meditation.
mandala workshop
sat 6 dec 2008. 1-4pm friends house. moira created a lovely space at the pride exhibition for a communal mandala which everyone enjoyed. this workshop will be based on exploring and creating more mandalas together.
yoga and creative writing weekend
17th-19th october 2008
the weekend will suit beginners and experienced alike and there will be time to explore the grounds and surrounding area and indulge yourself with delicious home-cooked meals and optional extra massage. we are limiting numbers to 10 for a friendly and sociable atmosphere. book early to reserve a place.

amanda zaninetti is a fully qualified british wheel of yoga teacher, exercise teacher and holistic massage therapist with over 20 years experience. her classes are taught with consideration for the uniqueness of each student and with an emphasis on movements of the spine, breathing and relaxation.
maria jastrzebska is a poet, editor, translator and creative writing tutor who is published in the UK and abroad, with recent collections including syrena (redbeck press). she creates a friendly, encouraging air in her workshops which are dynamic and stretching at the same time.
come and join us in the beautiful surroundings of a country house on the edge of rustington in east sussex. from friday evening to sunday lunchtime you will renew yourself with a relaxing weekend of yoga and creative writing led by experienced tutors.
